Larry Murrell
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 18, 2017

(02/15/17 Insider Obituary Archives) - Larry Murrell, Jr. 59, of Kress, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview. Interment will follow at Kress Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Larry was born on November 1, 1957 to Larry and Katherine (Gambrel) Murrell in Olton, Texas He married Sandra Seeman on December 18, 1976 in Littlefield.

He was Owner/Operator of Murrell & Sons Pumping for over 35 years and served families and business in the Plainview area. Larry was always young at heart and loved playing with his children and grandchildren. Whether it was playing Hide and Seek, cheering as loudly as he could at a family members sporting event or bowling on the weekend, Larry always had a good time and made sure those around him did as well. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Riggs McClane Murrell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved bride of over 40 years, Sandra; one daughter, Kayla Driver and husband Noel of Wildorado; two sons, "Mavrick" Larry C. Murrell and wife Brady of Hereford and Montana Murrell and wife Danna of Cedar Park. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Maddox, Easton, Brogan, Witten, Bailey and Brailyn Murrell and Porsche and Bhrett Driver.
