Funeral Services will be Friday, June 2, 2017

(05/30/17 Insider Obituary Archives) - Dallas Saenz, 18, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Plainview. Services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Tulia with Pastor Kurt Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A prayer service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Dallas was born on December 12, 1998 in Plainview to Toni Ramirez Walker and Ricky Saenz. Dallas loved his family to the fullest. He was a great protector and he did not like injustice. He enjoyed being with his friends all the time and was known as "D-Town". His favorite hobby was to play the guitar. He served God and gave his life to Christ and was baptized in 2015. He will always be known for his big heart, showing his love to everyone with a big smile and most of all being happy. Dallas graduated from Tulia High School on May 26, 2017 in Tulia. The family would like to give a special gratitude to the Sonic Drive-In, the Class of 2017 and all the Tulia Community for all their support.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Manuel and Fidela Saenz, Antonio Ramirez and Carmelita Alvarez.

He is survived by his mother: Toni Walker & husband Terry, his father: Ricky Saenz; two sisters: Rickel Saenz and Nadine Carmelita Saenz; his niece: Roisen Saenz; two nephews: Vahn Guererro and Vaylen Saenz; his grandfather: Joe Alvarez, his grandmother: "Nana" Olivia Aviles; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
